Bagel Cam, June 6, 2001:

Russell and Ron were on the bagel cam at countingdown.com at approximately 4:30 pm.

The people on the set of [the film] Minority Report wrote "Hi Russell and Ron". Russ wrote back "Hello LA" and then "Our bagels are better." Then he wrote "www.gruntland.com". Someone in Los Angeles wrote "Nice New York Times story" and Russell wrote "Thanks". Then, Steven Spielberg came on camera in Los Angeles.

Previously, Ron had been on and wrote "Steven, how would you like to trade? We're starting nights." Steven wasn't there then but a little later he came and asked "What day of shooting are you on?" and people on the Beautiful Mind set said "51 of 62". Now Steven was on with Russell and Ron. He wrote "Hey, Ron. What's going on?" Ron's reply was "4 pages by lunch. This guy learns his lines." referring to Russell, of course. Ron wrote, "What have you done with Tom?" [Cruise] Steven wrote, "14 shots by lunch. 1 1/8 pages." Then he said, "But we are making an ACTION PICTURE." Ron wrote, "Oh, so now you want to tell the truth?" Then Ron wrote something else saying goodbye and that they had to get back to work.
